The fix is simple: When you finish a job, EVERY tech on that job must click "Done." If the main tech clicks done but the helper doesn't, the job stays open. Both of you. Every time.
📱 A new automated reminder system is being built. When the lead tech clicks "Done," all helpers will get a text, Slack, and email saying "Close your job." Until then -- please click done manually.

📝 New Process for Checks and Cash
If you collect a check or cash on a job:
1️⃣ Record the payment type on your tablet (check / cash / card)
2️⃣ Enter the check number and amount
3️⃣ Bring it to the office SAME DAY or FIRST THING next morning
4️⃣ The system will follow up with you until it's confirmed turned in
We found a check from December 25 that was never cashed. That's 3+ months of lost float. Don't let this happen.
